It turns out that not all hole-in-one’s are created equal. Over the years we’ve framed quite a few of these “once in a lifetime” keepsakes, and each one has had it’s own special meaning to the player who scored it. For some, it was the fact that they got it here in upstate New York in December (a rarity to be playing at a time when most courses have a bit of snow cover). For others, it came on their first round of the new Season. Our most recent one comes with a little something special – Family bragging rights. It turns out that this Player scored his hole-in-one while using one of his brothers’ balls, clearly marked with his siblings Company logo. Needless to say, the request was made to prominently display the logo when framing it. We can only assume that the subject will “come up” at every family occasion in the future. We love these projects that tell their own story and invite the viewer to investigate further. Throw in a little sibling rivalry, and it becomes even more interesting. FORE!
